This guide shows how to unlink your Google account from your Servermall Cloud account — both via the Servermall Cloud control panel and through your Google Account settings.

Before you begin

Before you unlink an authentication provider from your Servermall Cloud account, make sure you can access the account in another way, for example by using your email and password.

Prerequisites

  1. You must have a registered Servermall Cloud account. For details on registration, see the guide: “Creating an Account”.
  2. Your Servermall Cloud account must have a Google account linked as a third-party authentication provider. To learn how to link a Google account, see the guide:  “Linking authentication provider”.

Unlinking an Authentication Provider via the Control Panel

  1. Sign in to the Servermall Cloud control panel.
For more information about signing in, see:
    — “Signing in to the Control Panel” — if 2FA is not used;
    — “Signing in to the Control Panel Using 2FA” — if 2FA is enabled.
  2. Click your avatar or profile name (“user” if the profile is not completed) in the upper-right corner of the Servermall Cloud control panel.

The account drop-down menu will open.
  3. In the drop-down menu, select “Security Settings“.

The “Security Settings” page will open.
  4. Go to the “Linked Accounts” tab.
  5. In the row of the authentication provider that you want to unlink from your Servermall Cloud account, click the “Unlink” button.

    A confirmation window will open.
  6. Confirm that you want to unlink the account by clicking the “Confirm” button.

After unlinking the selected authentication provider, you will no longer be able to use it to sign in to your Servermall Cloud client area. You will still be able to sign in using your email and password, as well as through other authentication providers if they are connected.

Unlinking the Servermall Cloud Connection from Your Google Account

  1. Sign in to the Google Account that you want to unlink.
  2. Go to the Google Account management page: myaccount.google.com.
  3. In the menu on the left, select the “Data and privacy” tab.
  4. Find the section “Data from apps and services that you use” and click “Keep track of your connections with third-party apps and services“.

The “Third-party apps and services” page will open.
  5. In the list of apps, find “сloud.servermall.com” and click it.

A detail window about the connection between your Google Account and Servermall Cloud will open.
  6. Click “Delete all connections that you have with Servermall Cloud“.

A window will open to confirm the removal of all connections between Google and Servermall Cloud.
  7. Confirm that you want to unlink your Google Account from Servermall Cloud by clicking “Confirm“.

After you unlink your Google Account, you will no longer be able to sign in with it. However, your Servermall Cloud account will remain active. You can still sign in to Servermall Cloud using your email and password, as well as through other authentication providers if they are connected.
